Welcome, Lepontino II
Once again this year, the pair of bearded vultures from Ticino successfully completed their nesting season.
After the first bearded vulture hatched in Ticino in 2023, the Ticino bearded vulture pair unfortunately failed to breed in 2024.
We are happy to inform you that our “little” bearded vulture, named Lepontino II, has taken flight this year.
Ficedula continues to monitor and conserve this vulture in Italian-speaking Switzerland.
