Activities and Excursions 2026
Throughout the year, Ficedula organizes excursions to explore the birds and nature of Italian-speaking Switzerland. The excursions are open to beginners as well, offering them the chance to discover birds and learn how to identify them.

Lake Rhaetian, Blenio Valley
A day hike in the upper Blenio Valley, set against a magnificent alpine landscape where we’ll have the opportunity to spot vultures (griffon vulture, black vulture, bearded vulture) and other species of mountain birds. We’ll leave our cars in Predasca (about 1,700 m) and reach the basin where the lake is located (2,373 m) by following an easy (though steep in places) hiking trail marked in white and red. Ascent time: about 2 hours
