The Swallows of the Magadino Plain

An evening event dedicated to the swallows of the Magadino Plain will be held next Thursday, April 23. For millennia, this incredible migratory bird has been intertwined with our own existence. Fifteen years after the first project dedicated to this species, we will learn how the swallows of the Magadino Plain are faring and what we can do to help conserve them.
The event will take place at the Sala Centro Ciossetto, Via al Piano 2, in Sementina. Admission is free.
The event is part of the Interreg ECO4TICINO project. In addition to Ficedula, the Swiss partners include the Bolle di Magadino Foundation and the Piano di Magadino Park.
