First Hike of 2026

The first field trip of the new year, dedicated to the dipper, took place this morning.

First excursion of the year organized by Ficedula, the Association for the Study and Conservation of Birds in Italian-speaking Switzerland.

The hike took place against the magnificent backdrop of the Breggia Gorges, where the more than 25 participants—despite a light drizzle—were able to spot the White-throated Dipper, the Goosander, and other species.
