Description
The Spotted Reed Warbler is a small passerine. In both sexes, the plumage is subdued in color, with brown tones and streaks. It prefers wet habitats such as reed beds and marshes, where it feeds mainly on insects and seeds. It nests low among the reeds, building nests out of grass and leaves. It is a migratory bird, with populations moving south during the winter.
