Le m\u00e2le adulte pr\u00e9sente un plumage rouge\u00e2tre intense, avec un dos plus fonc\u00e9 et un \u0153il blanc qui ressort nettement. Les femelles et les jeunes sont plus fonc\u00e9s et moins brillants. Son r\u00e9gime alimentaire se compose principalement de plantes aquatiques et de petits invert\u00e9br\u00e9s. La Morette tabac\u00e9e niche dans les marais, les lacs et les rivi\u00e8res \u00e0 la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation abondante. La p\u00e9riode de nidification s&rsquo;\u00e9tend de mai \u00e0 juillet, les nids \u00e9tant construits au milieu d&rsquo;une v\u00e9g\u00e9tation dense.       <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8b133c4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"8b133c4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Situation en Suisse italienne<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f69e84a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f69e84a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"font_8\">Au Tessin, la Moretta tabac est une esp\u00e8ce rare. On sait avec certitude qu&rsquo;elle a nich\u00e9 une fois aux Bolle de Magadino. D&rsquo;autres observations d&rsquo;individus en p\u00e9riode d&rsquo;hivernage et de reproduction d\u00e9montrent le potentiel de la r\u00e9serve des Bolle pour cette esp\u00e8ce.
