His parents will continue to care for him for a few weeks.   <br><br>The pair of bearded vultures that has been a permanent resident in Ticino since at least 2020 laid an egg for the first time in 2021: the egg hatched, but the chick survived only a couple of weeks. The same thing happened again in 2022, with the same outcome.   <br>In 2023, the nesting was successful, with the young bird fledging. In 2024, the young bird survived in the nest for only one month.
